On November 24, 1864 Confederate cavalry (Ross’ Texas Cavalry Brigade) attacked Union forces at Campbellsville commanded by Brig. Gen. Hatch driving them back towards Columbia.
Whites Station
On December 25, 1864 a detachment of the 3 rd Iowa Cavalry was defeated while on patrol near White’s Station.
