The best of the Tennessee Historical Society’s nearly 400 published articles on the Civil War in Tennessee are being gathered in 12 volumes through 2015. The first seven volumes are now available.
Each volume explores a different aspect or event of the War – from major battles and leaders to the homefront, the role of slavery, and impacts of the war.
