 TENNESSEE SESQUICENTENNIAL LICENSE PLATE UPDATE

Committee chairman Joe Smyth reports license plate orders are coming in steadily, especially since the launch of TCWPA’s new website and availability of an online order form.    “We lost quite a few orders when we returned checks and asked for updated information – folks move out of state, sell vehicles and the like.   After a direct email appeal, however, many reordered the plate and our numbers are back up to where they were earlier.   “We’re about 1/3 the way there - we still have a long way to go – so please let your friends know and encourage others to participate in the license plate program.   Remember – $15.62 of every plate sale goes to battlefield preservation and the Civil War Trails program.    We need 1000 orders in order to produce the plate.   Thanks for your help!”
