One last critical piece of land at Davis Bridge is for sale; if not preserved, it’s likely to be developed. In its defense, TCWPA granted $5,000 to help purchase that 20-acre tract of the core battlefield – the only remaining section not included in the recent purchase of 650 acres at Davis Bridge. The parcel is near the historic bridge crossing site and is nearly surrounded by the larger, now protected, acreage.
